Dating Do's and Don'ts.

Some Tips on How to Play Your Cards in the Dating Game

It is undeniably true that the dating game can be so thrilling, exciting and exhausting at the same time. We can never get enough of planning for the perfect date, hoping it to give that lasting memories forever.

To help you play your cards well in your dating games, why not try these few tips that will bring you close to becoming one ideal date or someone who can battle it out with any kind of date, be it good or bad.

Don't ask stupid questions This will only bore your date and a sign that you are immature and have lack of confidence.

How's the date going? Why are you so quiet? Did I do anything wrong? Are you bored? Did I bore you? So, what do you want to talk about?

If you find yourself thinking along these lines, assume the date is not going well.

Be active

Instead of eating and watching movie, do vary the activities that both you and your date can do on your date. Consider a concert, art exhibit or a street fair. Or, if both of you are more into physical activities like horse riding and ice skating, by all means, do so. However, if you are doing anything that will make you sweat, don't forget to bring your deodorant.

Wear appropriately

You wouldn't want to distract your date with your plunging neckline or micro-mini skirt. Save those outfits for your 3rd or 4th date. Prioritize comfort when it comes to your clothing. Anything too fancy will make your date think that you're trying too hard or are overly high-maintenance, which are both big turn-offs.

Choose your topics

Don't open any conversation regarding to your past relationship or any topic related to sex. Spouting anything about marriage is a big no-no too.

Focus on your date only

Do not change your focus or attention to the other opposite sex. Eyeballing other men or women while on a date is utterly disrespectful and unacceptable. How would you feel if your date ogled others?

Keep your cell phone down

Nothing is be more annoying than a person attending to phone calls every other minute while on a date. Unless you are a doctor on call, you may want to keep your cell phone off during your date.

Safe exit

If your date is being rude or obnoxious, you have the right to leave. However, do it politely. You should not stoop to his or her level.

With these tips, you are now less clueless when it comes to the dating game. All the best of luck and have fun!
