Cotton production uses chemical insecticides on a vast scale. Almost a quarter of all insecticides used globally are sprayed on cotton crops. Bad news for land, sea, rivers and people. Our cottons are grown without the use of chemical pesticides, and all subsequent processes such as ginning, washing, dying - even warehousing have been assessed. We are the first fashion brand to have clothing certified to Soil Association standards - something we are really proud of.
